Thursday, July 10, 2008The biggest take away from iFixit's 3g iPhone take apart The folks at ifixit.com flew to New Zealand to be among the first to get an iPhone 3G, and definitely among the first to tear one apart. Looking over their findings so far, perhaps the biggest surprise is the battery is NOT soldered in the phone. This should make battery swap far easier, although still off limits to the end user.
